Entrench

Quote: "He tried not to cry, with his entrenching tool, which weighed 5 pounds, he began digging a hole in the earth." ( Page 16)

Example: Its an example because the character describes the tool with the word as an example

Personal Sentence: They began to entrench around the sand castle at the beach.

Encyst

Quote:"..., and because they called it by other names, as if to encyst and destroy the reality of death itself"

Synonym: Encyst is followed by destroy so it may be related to destruction

Personal Sentence: As the fire faded, it darkened and began to encyst.

Valor

Quote: " Its not courage exactly, the object was not Valor."

Synonym: when the characters are talking about valor they describe it without courage or valor, and I know courage is to be brave so Valor must be as well.

Personal Sentence: When their was an upcoming surgery, you must have valor to face that fear.
